The former London Chief Post Office 1994
The London Chief Office in St Martin-le-Grand, London EC1A 1AA was closed in 1994 and sold to the Nomura investment bank, which retained the facade of the building. In the spacious and light counter area was an exhibition of ancient Post Office letter boxes. At the South end of the building was the Post Office Museum. The free market doesn't seem to allow for luxuries like museums or fine post offices like this one. The post boxes are sealed to prevent membes of the public posting letters into them.
