This was a youth oriented workshop where kids learned how to build and play a scrap yard guitar, built from hockey sticks, tin cans, wire, string, pipes and other junk! taught by Winnipeg based sound artist Ken Gregory.

This guitar contains historical bits of material from across Canada including a piece of one of Pierre Trudeau's canoe paddles, wood from Lucy Maud Montgomery's family house, a piece of log from Jack London's cabin, wood from the Bluenose, Seat 69 from Massey Hall, wood from Wayne Gretzky's hockey stick, etc. Shown at Home County Folk Festival in London.
