Outdoor hockey game
Our neighbours cleared the snow off the ice over a swamp and held a several-day-long hockey game. Tons of fun! North of Watsons Corners, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada.
As an aside, we were all amazed at how even a frozen swamp contributes to global warming. There was so much methane being given off that it was forcing water up through small cracks in the ice (you can see water in the far corner of the rink). And the whole area smelled like a very rancid fart.
75/365 - Quesnel, BC Hockey Game
Another hockey game today in Quesnel. The Quesnel Gold Panners against the old Quesnel Millionaires. My camera was on manual, at F 2.8, 1250 ISO, 1/250 sc, and auto white balance. That worked better to freeze the action, but it's a lot more grainy.
