First Upload of 2010!
After defeating the Edmonton Oilers in what has become an annual New Years Eve Event, the Calgary Flames held a small fireworks show immediately following the game. I am really excited for 2010. I want to take more photos, and improve in my abilities. When I look at photos I took in 2008 I can't believe I ever thought they were any good, I wonder if it will be the same when I look back in 2011. This year holds a lot of promise for me, the Vancouver 2010 Olympics are coming up in only 6 weeks, and I'll be there from start to finish, I know I'll be back to Japan after that. I have a lot of personal goals this year, too. I just hope I'll be able to accomplish them. Can't wait to see what else is in store.
Happy New Years everyone!
Oh, Canada!
The "C" of Red rises for the Canadian National Anthem inside of the Pengrowth Saddledome, in Calgary Alberta. I traded in my normal season ticket seats to go with my family for this special occasion on New Years Eve, in the very first row along the glass, where the goal judge box used to be, in the Flames attacking zone. I only ended up seeing one goal, Curtis Glencross' powerplay goal that made it 2 - 0. The Flames went on to win the game, for the fifth year in a row, by a score of 2 - 1 over the Edmonton Oilers.
