The gasket that fits between the cylinder head and the cylinders or cylinder block in an internal combustion engine
A head gasket is a gasket that sits between the engine block and cylinder head in an internal combustion engine.

1993 Toyota Camry V6
Found this at a local garage, I'm making inquiries about it...
Suffered head gasket failure, also got a split radiator and dodgy auto transmission. If it wasn't for the latter I'd be asking how much it was with the HG repaired, but as it is I think it might be better if the engine went for an MR2 conversion and I'll buy the rest off them. I need some tyres if nothing else, and I feel one of these will be in my future at some point soon - my 2011 ambition is to buy a V6 while they're still cropping up in half-decent condition.
I wish I had the skills to do things myself - I wonder if this could be converted to manual using the 'box out of my dead estate? This engine seems to bolt into lots of other Toyotas, according to Woodsport's website, and I think they had manual V6's in America?
