puncture repair
My wheelbarrow tyre got a puncture, making pushing it about 10x harder.
I've not repaired a puncture for 25 years and was heartened to find out that nothing has changed - in fact, nothing has changed since my Dad taught me how 35 years ago!
There's something - crazily enough - very satisfying about the whole process, from dunking it into water to find the bubbles, rubbing the area with sandpaper, applying the glue, waiting and plonking on the patch.
I seem to remember when I was 15 or so it wasn't that much fun, but I had no patience in those days.
Ford S Max - Wheel Vibration
We recently had a Ford S Max in for investigation. The vehicle had a really bad shudder at 50+mph. This was tracked down to a "loose object" in one of the tyres. A horrible lump of congealed rubber crumbs & glue - from a previous puncture treatment I guess. Unfortunately a new tyre was required due to uneve wear, problem fixed & happy (& safe), customer.
