Under the Shelter
This ancient oak is over 300 years old.Sitting under its massive limbs the temperature can vary 20 degrees or more!
An incredible invitation especially with the temps here in the South being 100 degrees and higher lately, pray for rain. The effects for trees are very noticeable the following year when there has been a severe drought-with many dying , so watering them is recommended!
Each year I say I cant believe its ever been this hot and each year it seems to be breaking records from the previous year. I really DO need to retire!

She's SO gorgeous, so just a warning...there may be more photos of her in the future.
