Sump Pump Backup System
- a computer system for making backups
- system for regular local or remote copying of data local for safe-keeping
- a suction pump for removing liquid from a sump
- (Sump Pumps) Sump pumps are responsible for pumping excess ground water from the basement to the outside of the home. For those of you that have ever experience water back up in your basement, you know all about how much cleaning is involved and how much damage can be caused.
- A sump pump is a pump used to remove water that has accumulated in a water collecting sump pit, commonly found in the basement of homes.

backing up the photo collection to a couple of 2.5" drives to take offsite. Easier than doing DVDs, which is what I had been using.
Inside the case is a Q9650, 8GB of memory, about 1.1TB of disk, an nVidia 9800GTX+ video card, terrestrial hdtv tuner and a couple of dvd burners.
The 2.5" drives are 320G and 500G - the 320's full, the 500's almost full.
Photos are stored on a NAS in the garage, connected to via a GB network.
TeraStation Backup system
Here is the TeraStation NAS system that I am currently configuring for a client. I already love it. Relatively small, RAID 5, easy setup, I think this is going to be a staple in my future IT setups. The MAXTOR USB on top of the TeraStation is for offsite backups. I am currently evaluating and considering development of the software system to drive this setup.
