The new Borehole/Well in Mvunguti
Mvunguti is a community in peri-urban Lilongwe. Until this borehole was drilled people had to go to the river for their water. I never tire of hearing the appreciation of people for water that they can drink without getting sick. One of the women in this village said she never thought she would see the day when water came out of a pipe in her village.
More borehole smoke
The boreholes were actually closed to the public, but our fearsome guide drove us through the 'no entry' signs anyway.
