No dramatically different modifications to the bike recently...
The pedals are now simple, double-sided, Lyotard model 460d ( a touring style pedal from the 1970s) so I can now just ride with most any shoes... the seat post is now a polished, fluted, single-bolt Dura-Ace 7400 from the early 1980s (much easier to adjust than an early Campagnolo 2-bolt model)... and the saddle is an old 1970s Wrights W3N (similar to an old Brooks B-17 Narrow) with black leather top, silver rivets, and chrome rails.
I think it all looks nice together. Click onto my complete set for this bike for more detailed photos.
Vespa GS150 carburettors don't age well, especially with wear from the large cylindrical throttle slide and the extreme heat stresses from the cylinder.
...ours is super shiney thanks to some zealous polishing with wrights silver cream after a going over with a dremel. a shiney carburettor radiates/reflects much more heat than a black one.
