The Shorebreak Hotel in Huntington Beach — which happens to be pet friendly —hosted a fund-raising event on Sept. 10 to benefit the Best Friends Animal Society and the Orange County Humane Society.
The economic downturn around the county has put added pressure on animal rescue groups to care for more abandoned pets. To help our homeless furry friends, Brenda Calvillo is organizing the fun-filled event that will feature hor d’ouvres, music, wine, a silent auction and more.
“We’re asking that people bring only well-behaved dogs,” Calvillo said.
So, leave those party poopers at home, folks!
But don’t fret, dog owners, the makers of PetaPotty will be on hand to spare the new hotels floors a wee little dog potty accident or two.
