The Peat Inn, Fife.
The large house was the original Peat Inn public house where travellers and locals would meet to exchange banter and news, before modern technology like the 'telegraph instrument' was invented. It lies between Cupar and Crail or Cellardyke on the high plain of east Fife. The location is mentioned in the bus timetables and prior on the old milestones that are seen beside many of the country roads in Fife.
