Hotel Room Taxes

Hotel room, The Nines
Due to our completely wacky summer temperatures (a high of 106 on this day), Emily, Mac and I checked ourselves into The Nines for a night to take care of the air conditioning. I would've been happy staying anywhere but we stayed here as it only ended up being $96 after taxes, due to a deal I found on Hotwire.
Here's a standard view of our room.

Freedom was ripe, freedom was right, there were smiles on faces everywhere and money to spare...A beer costs a quarter then, a steak dinner about two dollars and a hotel room went for ten dollars, with bath..........
