Lenovo IdeaPad Y450
The IdeaPad Y450 Y650 inherits the look even more in a small form factor with a few subtle changes. As part of the new IdeaPad earlier this year, the Y450 is designed with students in mind ... the result is an affordable 14-inch laptop that weighs just over 4.5 pounds. The combination of metal and plastic compact Lenovo offers a minimal clean, sustainable and feel the flex of the chassis. The black exterior semi-gloss and matte looks good, but the semi-gloss black lid does not seem as attractive as the cover matte black on the Y650. The body gives the notebook a lot of support and the combination of metals and plastics used feel rugged enough to withstand the daily abuse regularly in a backpack or office without showing much wear.

However, the apple a1045 has strong competition from new Dell Studio as the 14Z and the popular HP Pavilion dv4t. If you want a laptop for school attractive Y450 is an excellent choice, but if you need a laptop high end games or as light as possible, it is not.
