Cleaning rarely used tram tracks
Every two weeks on a Tuesday or Wednesday morning (I'm not sure about that), this seldom used turning loop in Amsterdam was cleaned by one of the two rail cleaners. In this picture, car Rr2 (built in 1914) is doing its job at Beursplein on a misty autumn day in 1971. A year later, this car was pulled out of service, but it was kept as a museum piece. The turning loop has been broken up decades ago
