f5.6 aperture achieved by as imple bit of DIY - jamming a small piece of cardboard between the two parts of the M42 adapter to operate the aperture pin as the lens does not have a A/M (auto/manual) switch.
Composed using LiveView and manual focussing (MF), tripod mounted, lit by natural light.
Day 220 - Poor Pigeon (220/365)
Something a little different today.
My wife found this young pigeon round near our shed in the garden earlier today, looking weak and unwell.
She kept checking it and leaving it food, but it was there most of the day. I nipped out to get this shot, trying not to upset or disturb it.
And yes, it seemed to recover as it had gone by this evening :o)
