floor tile - untitled - grouted in black 05/24/09
I painted on this floor tile a few months ago and just recently put all the glass on it. The beads in the middle are the clear plastic kind - I painted them to match the design under the beads. Needs lots of clean up and I would like to figure out a way to frame this thing even though this sucker is heavy as it is. That's the only thing I don't like about using floor tiles for indoor art - they look unfinished to me without a frame. I'll figure out something eventually. I still have tons of big floor tiles to play with!
fireplace tile floor - before
the tiles and grout were stained so badly - nothing I tried could clean them, so I decided to paint instead...
