Hoop Earrings In 14k White Gold

Paisley Earrings
Inspired by a popular motif in the opulent fabrics of India, these one-of-a-kind earrings are truly decadent.
Measuring over 3" in length and nearly 2" at their widest point, the paisley motifs are crocheted by hand from real gold thread and silk fibers. The inner-most portion of the motif is an open-work net of gold thread, dotted with tiny vintage glass pearls, in the center of which rests a flawless 8mm white freshwater pearl, in a cabochon setting hand crocheted with gold thread and edged with delicate teal glass seed beads.
Rippling outwards from the center are alternating rows of deep emerald green and teal silk with gold threads sprinkled with more of the vintage glass pearls. The outer edge has a delicate "picot" pattern in gold threads, the points of which feature the tiniest chips of peridot.
The bottom of the motif has a cascade of semi-precious stones, suspended by 14k gold-filled headpins and jumprings. The drops feature smooth peridot ovals and 3mm rounds, white, rice-shaped freshwater pearls, jade 4mm rounds and vintage glass pearls.
The entire earring is suspended from a beautiful 14k gold-filled french hoop earwire and is surprisingly light for an earring of this size.
