Guided bus lanes
There are guided bus lanes on either side of Southgate Avenue here, ensuring that some of the buses have a clear path through the sometimes heavily congested traffic confined to the two centre lanes. Probably half of the buses on this route are designed to use the guidance system - so the other buses have to use the two centre lanes with all the other vehicles … such a sensible idea :(
