Bento #61: Chili
...a quick bento of salad, leftover veggie chili, cheese, and tortillas.
I made the chili months ago and took it out of the freezer yesterday morning. Today I just threw it into the bento box and topped it with spring onions for color.
There's a simple salad, a bit of cheese, more homemade vinaigrette, a garlic-pesto tortilla (wrapped in plastic wrap to keep it from getting soggy), a vitamin drink, and the ubiquitous chocolate. Simple and fast!

Bento #59: Middle Eastern
...a nice big salad and some makings for tiny hummus and falafel sandwiches. For fruit, I packed a green apple fruit leather.
I not only used the giant Hakoya box but I put in a Ghirardelli chocolate too, so the calorie count is a little higher than I like. But since my breakfast (a mug of hot tea and 3 Morningstar Breakfast Bites - yum!) was less than 200 calories, I'm on target for the day... unless I end up starving and hork out on dinner.
