Floor Color

Colored shadows (3)
This photo has been taken at the opening of the P3 concert building in Purmerend, Netherlands. It's a new "rock temple" and I was invited at the opening because the company I work for was one of the suppliers of something meant to make this new thing a success. Of course there were all kind of speeches, the architect, someone from the city, the director. I always get bored at speeches, no matter how rightfull enthusiastic the speakers are. Luckily they had the concert lights already on and I had a good time looking at how the colored lights each produced a shadow of its own. I took my pocket camera and made some photos. This is the one I like best.

This one is more interesting to me. There are a few inconsistencies in the direction of pieces, but it shows how you can switch them around. This is the schema I used for planning the floor in the little sketch/doodle I did the other day. See the first comment for a look of that floor. Several parts were switched a little, but the basic idea is the same. I printed this out, then colored it in with markers and found a design I liked.
