Concrete Floor Radiant Heat
- We use 3500 psi concrete with fibermesh reinforcement, vapor barrier, and expansion joints. We also offer aprons, sidewalks, and other concrete you need poured while the truck is there.
- Thermal radiation is electromagnetic radiation emitted from a material which is due to the heat of the material, the characteristics of which depend on its temperature. An example of thermal radiation is the infrared radiation emitted by a common household radiator or electric heater.
- (radiant heating) A method of heating, usually consisting of a forced hot water system with pipes placed in the floor, wall, or ceiling, or with electrically heated panels.
- (radiant heating) heating a building by radiation from panels containing hot water or electrical heaters
Ground floor
This is the old barn floor where the 8 animal stalls were. The concrete floor has water based radiant heat in it. The ceder posts and the pine beams are original. The ceiling down here is the old barn floor from above.
House Progress
Concrete forms built for slab and footers. Below grade insulation, radon barrier and radiant floor heat tubing placed. Ready for concrete (which we actually had poured today, the weather cooperated and all is well).
