Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo 2011
Old Glory
The Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, a tradition since 1896, is a major event around here. It usually lasts three weeks and it is a smaller version of the Texas State Fair. Livestock is displayed and auctioned off. There are numerous exhibits from western art to farm equipment, and of course the midway and petting zoo. I look forward to it every year!
The Big Item
So, my parents are moving to Texas. :( They had a live auction to sell all/most of their belongings. This Farmall tractor of my Dad's was the big ticket item that most of the auction attendees came to bid on.
