A high efficiency particulate air , or HEPA , filter is a type of high-efficiency air filter.
short for High Efficiency Particulate Air – often used to refer to the level of filtration for vacuum cleaners or dust extraction.
HEPA stands for High Efficiency Particle Arrestor, used to reduce the number of contaminants in indoor air. A HEPA filter will arrest or stop 99.97% of all particles .3 microns or larger.
RIP Dyson
Whilst going about my househusbandly duties, I noticed that the Dyson had more fire coming out of it than normal.
I immediately turned it off. The fire subsided.
I turned it back on...
Lots more fire and black smoke too!!! woo hoooo!!!!
This makes vaccuuming much more fun, but unfortuately fills the house with acrid smoke.
After a bit more on-offing, the house's electrics decided that it had had enough and blew it's fuses, putting an end to my fun.
So, after 8 years of suction, the DC07 has finally come to an end. I've dismantled it and left it in the corner of the dining room, hoping that it might re-generate.
Looking on the brightside.... No more hoovering!!!! Yipeee!!!
ew ew ew
after changing the vac filter & hepa filter i pulled out all the hair from the roller under the vacuum. nasty!!!
