Abandoned Gettysburg Elementary
Gettysburg Elementary School
Gettysburg, Ohio
Second story window.
The Gettysburg Elementary School was closed in 2007 due to budget cuts and redistricting by the Greenville City School system. After the school was sold at auction, the new owner defaulted on the loan and the building went into foreclosure and flooded after water pipes burst over the 2009-2010 winter. Today it sits abandoned, moldy, and slowly decaying- just another death of a rural Ohio school.
