Rug, showing fading
This rug is perhaps a couple of decades old. It has been lying on a glassed-in porch. My mother, who made the rug (see other photos in the "rugs by Martin's mother" set for information) pointed out that the top has faded considerably. Compare the red color in the bottom (folded up) and the top, in the next-to-outside braid.
