Choosing A Dslr Camera
A digital single-lens reflex camera (digital SLR or DSLR) is a digital camera that uses a mechanical mirror system and pentaprism to direct light from the lens to an optical viewfinder on the back of the camera.

Processing route Pre-processing
32 Photographs (8 frames, 4 exposures each, 18mm/f11/ISO 100; 3,6,13 and 25s). All of these were processed from raw in Bibble5 with few adjustments. Lens-induced distortions were removed from these using PTLens. Stitching
The next step was to build a panorama based on one set of exposures (I chose the 13s per frame set). Hugin provides a convenient front-end to PanoTools and automatic key point generation. By copying the project and adjusting the file names, the same stitching procedure was applied to all other exposures too. The individual panoramas were then retouched in Gimp to remove flares (mainly from snow settling on the front element of the lens). Exposure blending
The four panoramas were then brought together using Enfuse (via the ExpoBlend Plugin in digiKam) to provide a balanced exposure whilst avoiding the over-saturated look of a true tone-mapped HDRI. Finally, ShiftN was used to straighten converging lines and the final output was resized in Gimp.
my new olympus
jee!!!
i bought a dslr!!!
my old olympus got crappy (i had to push the button really hard, so it was not easy to take non-blurry pics) and i was tired of developing films anyway. i've tried the olympus e-410 in barcelona a little and i just fell in love with it, so it was not hard to choose a camera. i can do everything manually and it has so many options, i just love it!
i bought it on monday evening and received it on tuesday, but i didn't upload any picture of it, because i wanted to keep it a secret until this weekend
let's hope to post many good pictures taken with this lovely cam on flickr :)
