On one side of her family, Baby Kylee's Great, Great, Great, Great Grandfather (My Grandfather's Great Grandfather) Timothy Mayhall walked and rode, with his family to the Republic of Texas from Ohio in 1845, settling on 160 acres of land at what is now Little Road and Kelly Elliot Road in Fort Worth, Tarrant County Texas. Fighting for the CSA, Timothy died during the war of Northern aggression in 1864. A United States Post Office now stands where he built his home and the only reminder of his passing is a 200' street named, "Mayhall." Baby Kylee is a TEXAN.

Almost all of my party decorations were handmade. I decoupaged the baby's name and a wild number of birdhouses and picture frames to display throughout the house. It was actually a very soothing project and gave me a great excuse to watch lots of Hulu and Netflix.
