Taken a day early, as I had some upcoming travel later in the week.

Note the weird hair action. I need a haircut (scheduled for this week, but canceled due to travel). And I need the ridiculously hot, humid weather to GTFO.

Today, I told my colleagues that I am pregnant. (I told my boss a month ago, but nobody else.) I work in an office of about 18 people. There's no way that I was telling people individually, and it felt weird to tell some people but not others, so I decided to say something at one of our all-staff meetings.

Best. Decision. Ever. It was a 2-sentence announcement, made at the end of the meeting, at 5:00 p.m. Everyone wanted to go home for the day, and I had a train to NYC to catch, so I had a legit reason not to stand around and answer questions.

Only one stupid comment -- "I was waiting for you to say something. I figured you were pregnant ... or had a weight problem." I guess this is just the first in a long line of stupid comments that I should expect, right?

I also cleaned out my closet this week. Took almost all my non-maternity pants and many of the tops and put them away. I figure, I won't be wearing them until at least 2012, and it was getting annoying to paw through everything to find something that actually fit. I think you'll be seeing a lot of the same outfits, over and over, in the coming weeks and months.

Saturday ~ In our full day before Daddy came home from his business trip, I forgot to take a photo. So this is her watching Wallace and Gromit while waiting for daddy to arrive home from the airport!

Wednesday ~ Pink and white polka dot dress from last Easter, baby pink shrug, baby pink leggings, Wednesday socks, and silver shoes

Thursday ~ Pink plaid dress (clearance from last Spring), Thursday socks (white with yellow heels and toes and orange polka dots), silver shoes, which I then made her change into brown ones with flowers!
