Day 28 Baby Signing
Before Carter was born, Maggie and I went to a baby signing class at the Bookman's on 19th & Northern. The instructor, Miss Jessika, had to cancel her class at that location, and her other classes were either too far away, too expensive (the one at Bookman's was free to us) or conflicted with another class. Since we haven't been going to yoga on Tuesdays, I decided to stop by Miss Jessika's class at the Borders at Paradise Valley Mall today.
Maggie was very shy at first and didn't seem to remember Miss Jessika at all. I was kind of hoping some of our friends might be still going, but we didn't know anyone else there. They were all very nice and even invited us to meet up with them at the zoo on Thursday. I figure we can go to at least one more class before we start back to yoga. Maggie doesn't use very much sign, but I figure the language practice is good for her anyway. I definitely need to encourage it more, because Miss Jessika is writing a book, and she wants to use pictures of our kids using sign to illustrate it. Maggie could be famous!
