A bicycle trailer is a motorless wheeled frame with a hitch system for transporting cargo by bicycle. It can greatly increase a bike's cargo capacity, allowing point-to-point haulage of objects up to 4 cubic yards (3 cubic meters) in volume that weigh as much as half-a-ton.

Bike Ypsi Big Bridge Brush Off
AndyH brought some traffic cones and an extra bucket in his bob trailer that both proved to be super helpful. Ok, I guess Andy was sort of helpful too!
A section of road on a popular route in Ypsi collected lots of sand and debris in the bike lane, and was particularly bad going over the Dixboro bridge. So, Bike Ypsi came together for the Bike Ypsi Big Bridge Brush Off! I pulled a number of brooms and shovels with my home-made bicycle trailer, which made for quite the morning work-out even before all the hard work sweeping and shoveling the dirt into the bucket on my trailer and then riding it to the end of the bridge to dump. It was a morning of hard work all around (a dozen people came out to help!) with a big payoff in the end - bikable bike lanes!
The Surly Steamroller with Bob Yak
I rode to the Zine Fest with my portable screen printing setup w/supplies the Surly worked just fine - I put the Bob Nutz on the axles, cover the bolts that were already on there, which allowed for right width of the Yak's dropouts. One of the stays of the Steamroller has been re-welded and the weld has since held up just fine.
