Riding bike and geotagging pictures
My favorite way to take pictures : backpack with gear and mountain bike !
You can have access quickly to point of view and get to place of difficult access. Now a step further for me:
Using a gps watch you can review your ride on google earth or MS live and the exact location from where you took a picture. Another way to find the location is to synchonize time between the watch and the camera.
I geotagged this picture using a gps watch garmin 305 getting the coordinates from the gpx files (previously exported with sportTracks) opened with notepad.
you can click on the map to see the place and look at the next two satellites screenshots
Reviewing directions
"Wiltshire Cycleway.... according to the map it's around here somewhere".
I begin to wish I'd programmed the GPS...
