OMSI Solar Canopy - E-bike Charging Locker Inside
The new solar canopy at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) powers an electric vehicle charging station and an e-bike charging station.
Shown here is the e-bike charging locker, which is coin operated and has a 120vAC electrical outlet inside. Owners of electric assist bicycles with off-board chargers place the battery and charger inside the locker where they can’t be stolen while recharging.
For bikes with on-board chargers, there are also regular bike racks with outlets.
