1929 Figured Mohair - Deco
This scheme called for this fabric to be the draperies. Green velours were to be used on chairs. A mauve and mulberry Wilton rug was suggested. Contrasting chair coverings called for green, handwoven Italian silk. Pink and mulberry Japan paper for walls, a gold taffeta piano cover, and flame designed wool tapestry on an armchair and couch.

The ROSE OF TRALEE COLLECTION - A wealthy 19th century Irish merchant, William Mulchinock, fell in love at first site with Mary O'Connor, his maid. Mary was born in Broguemaker's Lane in Tralee. Due to their different social class, their love affair never came to be. William left town and by the time he returned, years later, Mary had died. The Rose of Tralee is his love song to her. It is also now an international annual festival in Ireland.
