"Austria" in ivory and brown - 1-30-2010
For their 10th anniversary, this couple renewed their vows and finally got the wedding and reception they wanted! Elegant colors of dark ivory, chocolate brown and white/pale green florals were the inspiration for this cake's pallette.
Ivory fondant is piped with dark ivory scrolling over satin ribbon in dark chocolate. A dark ivory "waterfall" of fondant drape goes from top to bottom in one sweep. Fresh calla lilies and daisies finish the top.

New Media Room
We finally installed the new floors in the media room. I hated the old camel/carmel colored walls Robert had painted it before we got married, especially against our chocolate brown sofa. Felt like everything was brown. So i chose this "soft denim" color from Behr and spent two days priming and painting the walls. We also got rid of the old Walmart drapes and replace them with this striped one I found. Robert and I found that large ottoman at Marshalls on clearance for only $70. One of the legs was wobbly but we PLAN on super glueing it back on. ;)
