Faux Wood Plantation Shutters

Vintage Dog Bookends in Syroco Faux Wood
These little dog bookends are made of a composite material, designed to look like carved wood. The bookends are unmarked, but look like the popular bookends made of Syroco, a molded material made of wood flour, resins, and waxes by Syracuse Ornamental Company of Syracuse, NY (founded in the 1890s).

Plain door is painted to look like wood. Planks are created by taping off areas during the glazing process for a more realistic look.
