goodbye canopy.
mourning the loss of the beautiful canopy we had in our front yard. the pine tree that resides there was trimmed back today, and all the lower branches (except the one that holds the swing) have been cut off. no longer can i hang my lights from the branches, no longer can i "hide" under that tree. i am a little upset at myself for not taking any wide angle shots of the tree before it happened. :(
on the bright side (literally), it does allow more light in, and a lot of the front yard has been opened up. but i do miss my canopy.
