All Edible cactus cake
My first attempt at a cactus fondant cake. It helped to have the plants in front of me, which i luckily had most of in my yard. This is all gumpaste and fondant. Spaghetti for the spikes ( even the dark ones) couldnt think of anything else that would work. let me know if you have and ideas. All edible, dirt, flowers, container, and succlents :)

Sugar flowers made during a class at Icing Inspirations in Kitchener. Each edible flower and leaf is individually cut or molded by hand and then dusted with various colours to make look as realistic as possible.
