Lincoln's Death Bed
The actual bed in which the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln, died in after being shot by John Wilkes Booth at the Ford Theater in Washington, D.C. in 1865. Lincoln was too tall for the bed so they had to lay him at an angle. Chicago History Museum.
Furnitures
I was always fascinated, even as a child, by antiques and ancient times. I always felt I should have been born in
the 17th or 18th century. They really had a big stone castle with authentic furniture.
