Furniture Polish To Clean
Wood finishing refers to the process of embellishing and/or protecting the surface of a wooden material. The process starts with surface preparation, either by sanding by hand (typically using a sanding block or power sander), scraping, or planing.
The final finish can also be protected with application of a furniture polish. Several applications are normally required, and more regular reapplication is the norm. Less effort is involved.

Spring Cleaning
I am not the world's greatest housewife. Housework bores me to tears, largely because as soon as it's done, it needs doing again, so why bother? I mean, I'll just roll this rock up a hill for eternity, shall I?
Anyhoo, I gave in today, and while my Mom ran interference with the boychild, I gave my duster its annual outing and evicted some of the dust bunnies* that had taken up residence.
*No dust bunnies were harmed during the creation of this shot.

I believe in letting my children be creative.
Which usually involves s a big clean up of some sort.
and stained furniture.
But, that's o.k.
Today, my five year old picked "twisted pink".
she did a really good job, all by herself.
This photo was 'before' the second coat.
I soooo wanted to get the shot of "after" the second coat.
(hence, the title)
but my battery was dying a slow death, and the photo came out very blurry!
