I blew this traditional syle flower vase for my glass exhibition at Gallery Yabuki(Okayama city,Japan) in 2006. Itaya Hazan who is one of best potters in Japan inspired me. I was strongly influenced by Hazan's work Tankakuji houji kabin(1945). I think Hazan is one of the best potters in history.

This is a hand made porcelain bud vase with pink miniature carnations. I purchased the vase from the Saturday morning market on Hornby Island. The name of the pottery is Rachelle Chinnery Porcelain. Each piece is handmade and hand carved. I love it.
