Kids Furniture Plans
- Kids furniture is specially designed for kids. It is usually designed with eye-catching colors and styles that are suitable for children. Some kids furniture is designed with space-saving functions like storage drawers and desks built into the beds.

- (Plan) This shows the ground plan design, elevation of house, number and size of rooms, kitchen, bathrooms, laundry layout and position of the house on the land.
Day 13- Self Portrait Tuesday!
Jan 13, 013/365- It’s before 7:00 in the morning, time for a few quiet moments to plan the day’s activities-
1.Spend a few moments talking with God, seeking guidance :)
2.Finish that cup of coffee, get another.
3.Make sure I have everything ready for class today, papers ready, demos prepared.
4.Return some e-mails that are past due
5.Teach four 90-minute classes of video production.
6.Department head meeting right after school, probably to discuss budget cuts . . . again!
7.Stop at the glass shop to get glass for doors in some furniture that I am building for my daughter and son-in-law, to be delivered this weekend.
8.Run by the Ford dealer to check on some paperwork on the new SUV my other daughter is buying. I hope someone in Dearborn, Michigan, sends her a thank you card for buying a new Ford in these tough economic times :)
9.Go sit for hours at the doctor’s office waiting for follow-up appointment about the colonoscopy I had a few weeks ago
10.Read the three chapters for the night class I mentor on Wednesday nights, this will give me something to do while waiting in #9
11.Think about going to the gym, but not likely to happen today :(
12.Stop somewhere and buy a new card reader for school, the one we have now rarely works anymore.
13.Help fix, or least help figure out what we are having for dinner.
14.Install drawer fronts and doors on the furniture in #8 above.
15.Walk Dharma around the block
16.Take shower, Flickr surf a little, go to bed!
repainted Via Toy Box doors, now with chalkboard paint
The red doors on the kids' Via Toy Box didn't really match the rest of the reds in the kids' room, so I decided to paint them black.
We had about half a can of magnetic chalkboard wall paint left over from Yoyamart, and so I put three coats on each side, sanding in between.
The can says to use a 120-grit sandpaper, which seemed way too rough to me. I used 320 instead, to get a smoother finish. It's important, because the paint is a little thick, and it didn't settle smooth as I expected/hoped it would.
The matte finish looks great, and the soft black matches the milk crates, too.
Magnetically speaking, three coats barely holds the smallest magnetic sticker, though, so don't plan on that.
