This is a quick (and cheap) centerpiece I made for my dining room table.
You need:
1 clear glass container
florist foam or Styrofoam
river rock, glass gems or marbles
bouquet of flowers
I arranged the foam and most of the river rocks in the container first then added the flowers. The foam dust likes to cling to the inside of the glass. You'll want to clean that off before adding more rocks. Then I added a few more rocks and ta-da! you have yourself a centerpiece.

The main part of the centerpieces will be a small mint julep cup, which is made of silver plastic (cheap from ebay!), with about 6 roses in each one, in a mix of red and white roses.
