Makeup Primer For Dry Skin
- Xeroderma, literally meaning "dry skin", is a condition involving the integumentary system, which in most cases can safely be treated with emollients and/or moisturizers. Xeroderma occurs most commonly on the scalp, lower legs, arms, the knuckles, the sides of the abdomen and thighs.
- Skin that is generally dry may include dry eyelids.
- Ordinarily, dry skin (xerosis) isn’t serious, but it can be uncomfortable and unsightly, turning plump cells into shriveled ones and creating fine lines and wrinkles. Most dry skin results from environmental factors that can be wholly or partially controlled.

Day 20 - Dry, Cracked Skin
The thing I haven't been able to get used to since I moved to Colorado 10 years ago, is how horribly dry my skin gets in the winter. My hands are dry and cracked and my knuckles look like they have road rash. I found some crazy vitamin e lotion stuff. It comes in a small yellow tub. it's like 10 bazillion BTU vitamin E. It helps... until I have to wash my hands.. and then they just dry out again. But hey it was a vast improvement over 1 use... so I found my winter time lotion!
