In this series of images I wanted to show the chaos and untidiness of the every day work space and storage spaces. My main influence has been Jeff Wall. Unlike him I don’t stage my work to quiet the extent that he does.
I also wanted to show it in a more unusually way. I hope to have done this by using different angles (higher and lower than “normal” eye level). None of the light I have set up, it is either the natural sunlight, or the light in the garage. It’s amazing how different it looks with just the difference between night and day.
This one I like because of the lighting, the contrast in the front of the image and the back ground, where its lighter.

So. Here's the interior of the garage after I'd removed most of the useful garden tools and put them in a new toolshed in the garden. The freezer was left by the previous occupant. We put it on the roof of my car and took it to the recycling centre. The TV was also left behind by the previous owner. Some of the children's toys will be stored in a chest in the garden, the rest of the stuff needed to stay in the part of the garage we didn't convert.
