White Rose 3
I took this photo in my room with the bare minimum of equipment. I used a point&shoot Fujifilm (excellent camera). Lighting was using a Philips 15W CFL kept very close to the rose. The background is a black t-shirt. A stack of books provided the height to rest the camera and the built in self timer was used.
One thing I have learned that you can have cheap substitutes for almost anything but one of the most important thing to have is a stand or clasp to hold the flower in the desired position. I still haven't found a good one. Yet. For this shot a 10ml measuring cylinder was used as a vase.
