Glass Dining Table Sets
- A table on which meals are served in a dining room

- (Dining Tables) The first dining tables of which survivors remain are the type known as refectory tables. They are made usually of oak, and one of the earliest, at Penshurst Place in Kent, has a typical thick top of joined planks supported on three separate trestles.

Lens Test
Before I purchased my Tamron 200-500mm Super Telephoto lens, I read a number of reviews to find quite a few photographers registering their disappointment with a lack of sharpness. This image was hand-held with the lens racked out all the way, standing 8 ft. away from the subject. I therefore offer this as visual proof that the quality of the glass (or at least mine) is indeed worthy of providing a sharp image. Although the lens is wide open with a short DOF, note here the pattern on the diner plate at the far right and the tablecloth just left of the water glass.
My recommendation is to always use a tripod whenever possible but when you can't, bring those elbows in, inhale normally, exhale half-way out, then hold your breath there and squeeze the shutter slowly as you would with a rifle trigger target shooting at 500 meters. The rifle/camera shutter should surprises you when it actually goes off.
This lens costs near $1,000USD, compared to a similar Nikon lens at $8,000USD. So, for the money invested it certainly does the job, however, the photographer has to posses the skills required to use it properly, as with any tool. I welcome your comments for or against. Happy Thanksgiving!
