Kitchen Island Table Set
an unattached counter in a kitchen that permits access from all sides
A kitchen is a room or part of a room used for cooking and food preparation.
Larger than utility kitchen carts, kitchen islands provide the maximum amount of work space and storage.
(Table setting) Table setting refers to the way to set a table with tableware--such as eating utensils and dishware--for serving and eating. The arrangement for a single diner is called a place setting.
Comprises 4 pieces of glass those being a sugar, creamer, covered butter and a spooner in the same pattern.
Island tilework by Deb
This is the ceramic tile top of our kitchen island. Deb first made the island by combining counter kits from Menard's; then she had me create a plywood surface to cover them. She specified the size she wanted, and I simply provided it. Then she proceeded to do the centerpiece, followed by the surrounding tiles. She used a tile saw, nippers, and grout, basically. The stone for the centerpiece came from Morocco. Once the tiles had set, she used off the shelf trim pieces to do the edge.
Once she had all that done, I wired it with a 20-amp dedicated line using ground-fault receptacles so she could run small appliances conveniently; the plugs are out of sight at the rightmost edge of the counter side as you look at it here.
Her island design features an indented area for seating at the opposite side.
Since this project, I got her a router and router table, and I'm certain that given the opportunity, she'd create the trim herself - she's gotten pretty handy with that thing. For instance, she did all the trim for the stained glass window project in the bath with it.
Knights of the Round Table
I set this up (or rigged this) on the island in our kitchen. The only lighting were two flashlights, as I wanted a darker mood.
