low table where magazines can be placed and coffee or cocktails are served
(Coffee Tables) While any small and low table can be, and is, called a coffee table, the term is applied particularly to the sets of three or four tables made from about 1790; of which the latter were called 'quartetto tables'.
A coffee table, also called a cocktail table, is a style of long, low table which is designed to be placed in front of a sofa, to support beverages (hence the name), magazines, feet, books (especially coffee table books), and other small items to be used while sitting, such as coasters.

someone who bakes commercially
A baker is someone who bakes and sells bread. Cakes and similar foods may also be produced, as the traditional boundaries between what is produced by a baker as opposed to a pastry chef have blurred in recent decades. The place where a baker works is called a bakehouse, bakeshop, or bakery.

Baker's Square, Ogden Ave
My old high school haunt, where I had a regular table and a regular order and a regular waiter for years. Bypassing new servers who happened to be working my table and getting free pie from Patrick. A series of black and white photographs from my very first date with my first long term boyfriend. Going here to escape, to do homework, to pass the time. Ending up here because there's not many other places for teenagers at 11pm. Making the few stroller moms uncomfortable and feeling at home with the cranky old people. Never sitting in the smoking section but close enough to it to check who was in that day. A million cups of coffee, arguments, conversations, writing love notes on napkins.
If I got to bring you here, I'm glad, because as cheesy as it seems, its a huge part of me.
Apparently its now closed for business.

any patio is incomplete if you don't have a beverage center. we were fortunate to discover this exactly matched the coffee table we acquired from a friend...how lucky is that?
