Rimu table
I'm pretty happy with our new outdoor dining table. Considering I did this with no stationary power tools it's pretty darn good. The top is made from recycled rimu floor boards off a guy from work ($25) and the base is PT wood. I left all the surface imperfections in the rimu and just filled/sanded. The finish is hand rubbed oil which relaly brings out the color. The only flaw is that the legs aren't perfect square, I didn't have any bar clamps. I may have to wedge in some stringers along the leg bottoms if this turns out to bother me too much.

When the water level rises, boats are pulled onto the square where harborside cafes and restaurants would normally put their outdoor dining tables.
